Turn Your Apparel Boxes Into a Great Unboxing Experience
Custom apparel boxes add fun and excitement into shopping for a new outfit or kitting yourself out with a whole new wardrobe.
While their primary purpose is to carry clothes safely from the shop to the customer, creatively done apparel boxes help boost product appeal as well as brand recall.
Used by both major fashion brands offering ready-to-wear clothing and bespoke ateliers specializing in custom-sewn or tailored outfits for various occasions, apparel boxes also turn unboxing into an exciting experience for customers or, in cases where clothing is given as a gift, for recipients.
But if a company wants customers to keep coming back for their clothes, putting those clothes in lackluster packaging is not going to help at all. For brands to have maximum impact, plain packaging simply won’t do.
Clothing brands need to step up their game to stand out in the market with packaging that is every bit as unique as the clothes they make and sell. For that, it’s best to get in touch with the experts to create the perfect box for the brand and business.
Custom Packaging is Key
Customization is what sets brands apart from their competitors. Having custom-made and expertly designed packaging for your products is a great way to imprint your brand into the minds of customers. Aside from protecting your products from the elements, it’s a strong and highly visible marketing tool.
Likewise, customization gives you creative control. It enables you to choose the exact size for the products you’re sending out, along with materials that are sturdy enough to hold up in transit and look good on display.
Custom packaging also serves as a point of contact that can encourage customers to share their feedback, particularly when a brand’s contact details are printed upon it. In the long run, it can help companies gather information which they can use to improve products in the future.
For your custom packaging needs, Packola has the solutions for you.

Smart Custom Packaging for Smart Outfits
The right box is what can spell the difference between an ordinary brand and a great brand. Packola offers several options for practical and great-looking apparel boxes:
- Lid-and-Tray Boxes Built with lids that fit snugly over the tray, these boxes are usually lined with tissue paper and are ideal for items like dress shirts and formal dresses, or even shoes.
- Roll-end tuck-front with dust flaps (RETF) Boxes Essentially a mailer box, these boxes are best used by online boutiques that need to safely ship their items to distant customers.
- Die-Cut / Custom Shaped Boxes Add an element of fun to packaging clothes with these boxes that can be custom built to specific shapes. This category includes tubular packaging for T-shirts.
- Standard Product Boxes Built smaller, these can be used for items like underwear, socks, and other accessories.
Our lid-and-tray and RETF boxes range in size (length x width x height) from 3” x 3” x 1.25” to 14” x 12” x 3”. Regardless of what you pack inside, there is a box size that’s just right for what you need.
- Length: 3” to 25”
- Width: 2” to 25"
- Depth: 1" to 15"
Boxes may also be customized based on the following dimensions:

Materials Make a Difference
High quality materials also help create memorable packaging options. We offer the following choices:
- Cardstock Also known as pasteboard, this thin cardboard is used to make elegant, lightweight packaging that is often used for gift boxes or for more delicate items of clothing. We offer the following thicknesses for cardstock boxes:
- 14 pt.
- 18 pt.
- 24 pt.
The standard thickness of our corrugated cardboard is determined by box dimensions and may be either of the following:
The internal construction [fluting] of these materials ensures that boxes can withstand rough handling on the road and can easily be stacked without damage to either the box or the contents within.
All our materials are sustainably sourced and are 100% recyclable, a great choice for companies seeking to be more environmentally responsible in their choices through a reduced carbon footprint.
Custom material options are available and are priced accordingly.
Our custom apparel boxes can be laminated with glossy, matte, and high-gloss finishes.
In addition, we offer the following custom finishes for orders with more than 250 pieces.
- Gold or Silver Foil Stamping
- Partial Glossy (Spot UV)
- Window Cut-Outs with clear plastic or silicon covers
- Soft Touch
