Overview

Ecommerce Boxes That Goes Everywhere

With so many people jumping onto the ecommerce bandwagon, one item that is in great demand is delivery boxes for ferrying items produced by artisans and small/medium enterprises to various parts of the country.

These ecommerce boxes are used by a wide spectrum of industries. You have makeup boxes that contain curated collections of bespoke cosmetics, candy boxes holding a wealth of sweets of every kind, and even boxes for garments lovingly made by hand.

Good ecommerce boxes also need to be made sturdy enough to withstand rough handling as well as the stacking and jostling that occurs during transport.

That’s where customization to your specific needs comes in.

Custom Packaging is Key

Creating a box specific to your brand’s needs goes a long way in helping establish rapport with customers and also gets your brand noticed in the wider market.

Customization enables you to choose the exact size for the products you’re sending out, along with materials that are sturdy enough to hold up to rough handling and getting jostled en route to their destination.

Also, custom packaging also doubles as a marketing tool as it establishes brand recall with customers when you put your brand or product logos on it, as well as contact details so that your target market can give their feedback to help improve your products and services.

For your custom packaging needs, Packola has the solutions for you.

Designed by You, Customized for You

No frills, no fuss, no problems: Packola takes the guesswork out of box-making through its unique online ordering and design system, letting you create the kind of custom packaging you need in next to no time at all.

Simply add the details: the size, the materials, even your printing options – and you are well on your way to making an ecommerce box that safely transports your products to customers anywhere in the country.

With Packola, it only takes minutes to create and customize a box that suits your specifications to a T.

Because at Packola, we believe in customization without limits – and the only thing limiting you is your own imagination.

The Right eCommerce Box for Just About Anything

Packola offers roll-end tuck-front with dust flaps boxes (RETF) for online entrepreneurs to package their products in.

These boxes range in size from 3” x 3” x 1.25” for small items such as makeup samplers or candy selections to 14” x 12” x 3” for product collections with bigger items such as apparel and ceramics or a larger number of objects.

If our standard sizes don’t suit you, ecommerce boxes can be customized based on the following dimensions:

  • Length: 3” to 25”
  • Width: 2” to 25"
  • Depth: 1" to 15"

Note: Dimensions are based on the interior of the box. For custom sizes, email us at info@packola.com to request a quote based on your specifications.

Hard-Wearing, High-Quality Materials

All our ecommerce boxes are made with high-quality corrugated cardboard that holds up well in transport and, depending on the size, can hold a maximum of between 30 to 50 lbs.

We currently offer the following types:

  • Standard White Corrugated Cardboard
  • Premium Corrugated Cardboard with a smoother white surface and a slight sheen
  • Brown Kraft

Material thickness is determined by box dimensions and may be either of the following:

  • 1/16” E-flute corrugated cardboard
  • 1/8” B-flute corrugated cardboard

The internal construction [fluting] of these materials ensures that boxes can withstand rough handling on the road and can easily be stacked without damage to either the box or the contents within.

Sustainably sourced and 100% recyclable, our materials are perfect for companies who want to be more eco-friendly with a lower carbon footprint.

Custom material options are also available and are priced accordingly.

A Custom Box in Minutes

Our easy-to-use design tool makes it possible for you to create your box online: just add the relevant details, and you are redirected to our Online Design Tool.

The unique online interface lets your see and work on your design in 3D and in real time. Add your text, logos, and images to put your stamp on your box; play up patterns and colors for maximum impact.

If you have Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator files ready, you can easily upload them when you place your order to get a die line template (cutting and/or folding pattern guide) based on your specific dimensions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the difference between shipping boxes and mailer boxes?
A:

Shipping boxes are larger and used for bulky items, while mailer boxes are smaller and designed for individual or small items. Mailer boxes are ideal for e-commerce and don’t require adhesives for assembly.

Q: How do I know what box size I need?
A:

Packola measures the interior dimensions for box production, meaning the sizes you input are the measurements inside the box when it is folded. You can follow these steps to help gauge the box measurements you need:

  • Lay out and organize all the items you plan to put inside your box on a flat surface.
  • Stack them as you would when packing the box.
    • Include any decorative packaging material, such as bubble wrap or packaging foam.
  • Measure the dimensions accordingly in inches
    • The length should be the left-to-right dimension
    • The width is the front-to-back dimension
    • The depth/height is from the flat surface to the top of the tallest item
  • Add a 0.25" margin to each dimension to ensure easy packaging
Q: How much weight can your corrugated boxes support?
A:

Our corrugated boxes have a 32 ECT rating. Boxes with 32 ECT rating usually support the following weights:

  • E-flute: up to ~20-25 lbs
  • B-flute: up to ~30-40 lbs
Q: Is a mailer box easy to assemble?
A:

Yes. The mailer box ships flat and pre-scored. Follow the steps in the video to quickly assemble your custom box:

Q: Can I buy a single mailer box?
A:

Yes, you can order one (1) mailer box. We have no minimum quantity order. You can order as few or as many as you need.

Q: Can I ship a mailer box without using any other external packaging?
A:

Yes, you can. The corrugated cardboard is strong enough to withstand the rigors of shipping. However, we recommend using external packaging such as a shipping box to provide a better unboxing experience.

Q: How can I create my design?
A:

We have an Online Design Studio that makes it super easy to add logo, text, and graphics to your box within minutes. You can also use a professional desktop application like Adobe Illustrator® and send us the completed artwork. Already have a file but have questions about your design? Email our packaging experts at artwork@packola.com for a review.

Q: How can I get a dieline template?
A:

After completing your order, we’ll send you the dieline template file through your given email address.

Q: Why did you print a QR code on my custom boxes?
A:

The QR code makes it easier for us to track your orders while it’s in production. This means we get to finish it faster so you can receive it as early as possible. It won’t affect the overall look of your custom box since it’s printed on a hidden area.

Q: How will my boxes be shipped?
A:

Your boxes will be shipped flat and unassembled.
